As the CEO and driving force behind Scope, Justin leads all AI, engineering and product strategy. With over 15 years of experience building and leading product and technology organizations, Justin's AI experience ranges across electric utilities, power generation, oil & gas and government sectors. For the past decade, Justin has led teams in next-gen AI solutions for mission-critical industrial, commercial and military applications. His significant contributions to national defense and digital product innovation are actively utilized by the Department of Defense. Notably, he developed the groundbreaking WIDOW system, now the official mission planning tool of the U.S. Air Force. From subsurface industrial applications of computer vision, to deploying AI technology miles in the air, Justin has pioneered best in class AI for physical world applications.
Mike Poroo
Co-Founder & President
Mike Poroo serves as President of Scope and is a globally recognized authority on commercial and heavy industrial applications of fiber and wire rope. He facilitates mechanical engineering strategy for Scope systems, serves as our executive subject matter expert on model development and has built a team and network of fiber and wire rope SMEs to supplement the Scope technology organization. Boasting more than 20 years of expertise in the rope industry, Mike has led engineering and product teams to successfully deploy industrial engineering solutions for the aerospace, electric utilities, power generation, oil & gas and government sectors. Prior to Scope, Mike served as partner for SWOS leading teams deploying cordage oriented engineering solutions across the globe.
Arthur Medina
COO
Arthur is the COO at Scope, where he leads cross-functional teams across Product, Go-to-Market (GTM), and Corporate Strategy. He has extensive experience with AI products involving supervised machine learning, natural language processing, generative AI, and computer vision. Before joining Scope, Arthur was the SVP of ThoughtTrace Inc., an AI and ML software company, where he led the company's largest business unit until it was acquired by a Fortune 500 company. Prior to ThoughtTrace, Arthur held the role of VP at a SaaS and advisory firm, which was acquired by the private equity group Satori Capital in 2017. His experience in scaling AI-driven businesses for industrial and commercial technologies has been pivotal in his leadership roles.
Daniel Droke
VP of Technology
Daniel Droke is a highly accomplished product and technology professional with more than a decade of experience in the software industry. Daniel leads all engineering functions at Scope to ensure software, hardware and AI collaboration is delivering product to Scope's North America customers. Prior to Scope, Daniel served as a technology executive for the Fin-Tech group Livbrook Capital and as the VP of Application & Engineering at ThoughtTrace Inc, a SaaS startup with a mission to unlock insights from documents containing rich, complex, and unstructured language. Under his guidance, ThoughtTrace evolved from a promising idea into a powerful platform that was ultimately acquired by a Fortune 500 company in 2022. Daniel's career is a compelling narrative of how expertise, leadership, and a passion for technology can converge to shape the future of software on a global scale.
