Effective October 24, 2026
This policy explains what information Scope Computer Vision Technologies Corp. ("Scope," "we," "us") collects through visionbyscope.com and our advertising, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions go to privacy@visionbyscope.com.
1. We do not sell your information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. We use it to respond to you, to run our events and to market Scope's own products to businesses.
2. Information you give us
When you fill in a form on our site or in one of our ads, we collect what you enter. Depending on the form, that can include your name, work email, phone number, company, job title, location and message. Event registration forms can also ask for your travel dates and hotel. If you take our "Test your judgment" quiz, we collect your strength estimate, name and email.
If you email us or talk with our team, we keep that correspondence.
3. Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect standard technical information: pages viewed, the page that referred you, campaign tags in the link you followed, approximate location based on IP address, browser and device type, and the date and time of your visit. When you submit a form, we record how you found the site (for example, a search engine, a LinkedIn ad or an email link) with your submission.
We use cookies and similar technology to do this. The main tools are:
• Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site.
• LinkedIn Insight Tag, to measure the results of our LinkedIn ads and to show our ads to people who have visited the site.
• Framer, which hosts the site and records basic, aggregated visit statistics.
4. Information from other sources
We may add business contact details from commercially available sources, such as a person's company and job title, to records in our customer database. When you respond to one of our LinkedIn ads with a LinkedIn form, LinkedIn passes us the information you submit.
5. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
• respond to demo requests and other enquiries;
• register you for events and send event details;
• send you information about Scope that you asked for or that relates to your enquiry;
• measure and improve our website and advertising;
• show our ads on LinkedIn to people at the companies we work with or want to work with;
• keep the site secure and comply with the law.
6. Advertising on LinkedIn
We advertise on LinkedIn. To show our ads to the right businesses, we may upload lists of company names or business email addresses to LinkedIn. LinkedIn matches them to its members and does not show us who matched. LinkedIn's use of that data is governed by its own privacy policy. You can control the ads LinkedIn shows you in your LinkedIn advertising settings.
7. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only so they can do that work for us. These include our website host (Framer), our customer database and email provider (HubSpot), Google Analytics, LinkedIn, the tools that move form submissions into our customer database, and the analytics provider that reports on our marketing. We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.
8. Your choices
• Email. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email privacy@visionbyscope.com.
• Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• LinkedIn ads. You can manage LinkedIn ad preferences in your LinkedIn account settings.
Our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to opt out of its use for targeted advertising. To make a request, email privacy@visionbyscope.com. We will confirm your request and respond within the time the law allows. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
10. How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, for example while we have a business relationship with you or your company, and as long as the law requires. We delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Where information is stored
Scope is based in the United States, and our service providers may store information in the United States and other countries. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
13. Children
Our site and services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
